Chicago Powerboat Club

Welcome to the Chicago Powerboat Club!

We are a non-profit organization founded on a common love of high-performance boating.

Though we take our name from the Windy City, our membership includes enthusiasts from all over the Great Lakes and the Upper Midwest.

Our boating season is limited by the weather, but our club activities are most definitely not. The warm weather brings gatherings for fun runs, photo runs with a helicopter, and the annual Chicago Poker Run, benefiting Children’s Memorial Hospital. We all have to deal with the off-season, but CPC makes it a bit easier with a party at the Chicago Boat Show in January, and a Spring Fling to kick off another great year.

We stress safety as well as speed on our runs, to ensure everyone has a great time…and to make sure everyone is there for the party afterwards. Whether you are casually interested in going fast on the water, or a hard-core aquatic speed freak, chances are you’ll find a common denominator in our crowd.

Chicago Poker Run 2008

The Poker Run will be held on July 18 & 19, 2008. The event will be better than ever with all the help from our many great sponsors and the City of East Chicago.

The event will be limited to the first 85 boats!!!!!!. Registration is now open!
